Borrowing

Borrowing and returning of materials is available from 8 AM - 7:40 PM, and from 8 AM - 1:30 PM on Saturdays.

Terms of Loan

Terms of Loan vary according to categories of membership:

students of public and private universities may borrow 3 books a month and use 3 publications in our reading rooms at the same time
unemployed and pensioners can borrow 2 books a month and use 2 publications in our reading rooms at the same time
postgraduates and doctoral students may borrow 5 books for 2 months and use 5 publications in the library
employees of public and private colleges may borrow10 books for 3 months and use another 10 publications in our reading rooms
employees can borrow 2 books a month, and use 3 publications in our reading rooms
graduates and temporary members may use up to 3 publications exclusively in the reading rooms
patrons who do not have permanent residence in Belgrade, or are not studying in Belgrade or those who are not full-time employed in Belgrade cannot borrow materials outside the Library.

E-Catalog

E-Catalog search can be done from home or in the library. This catalog contains data on all publications acquired after the 1988th and all older publications that have been borrowed in the meantime. There are three types of electronic catalog searches: basic, intermediate and advanced.

Reservations and Renewals: My Library

Materials can be reserved in advance through the library service "My Library". To use this service, you need to enter your library card number and password obtained at the library.

Name catalog of books and dissertations is divided according to the alphabet (Latin/Cyrillic) and year of publication (before and after 1963) in 3 parts.

Special catalog of books is arranged by narrow areas of expertise.

Name and special periodicals catalog for magazines in the library collections.
